Our Mission 🐝

Learning with Santi & Bea is built to be private and safe for children, to be used alongside a grown-up. This page explains, in plain language, how the app handles information and the terms under which it is provided. This is the full policy referenced from within the app.
Privacy

Private by default
Everything your child does — profiles, progress, drawings, written answers, feelings check-ins, and settings — is stored only on the device where the app is installed. We run no servers of our own and never receive this information. Removing the app, or clearing its data, removes this information from the device.

No data collection
We do not collect names, email addresses, locations, contacts, or any other personal information on any server. There is no sign-up and no account to create.

No ads or tracking
The app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.

Writing & diary activities
If your child uses the writing activities, the text they type is saved only on the device so they can see their own work. The optional feelings diary stores check-ins (how a child is feeling, and any reason they choose to add) only on the device. None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. A grown-up can review or clear it from within the app.

Optional AI helper
The AI helper is switched off until a grown-up chooses to add their own API key. If it is enabled, messages are sent directly from the device to the AI provider (Anthropic) — never through us. You can remove the key at any time to switch it off. Use of the AI provider is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

Wellbeing corner
The feelings activities offer gentle, general support to help a child notice everyday emotions. They are not therapy, counselling, or medical advice, and are not a diagnosis. If you are concerned about your child's wellbeing, please speak with a GP or a qualified professional.

Children's privacy
Because the app collects no personal information and has no accounts, it is designed to be safe for children when used with a grown-up. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.

The app supports learning but does not replace a teacher or school, and we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it accurate and reliable, but we are not liable for any loss arising from its use, to the extent permitted by law.
